Overlander partners with top racehorse trainer in Newmarket
Overlander ambassador James Horton
Earlier this Year, Newmarket based trainer James Horton Racing took delivery of a brand-new Overlander two stall horsebox and joins dozens of fellow trainers nationwide who choose Overlander as their equine transport solution.
After six months of operating the horsebox, James gave us his thoughts;

With an exceptional CV working for some of ‘Racing’s Greats’ James has made a bright start to his training career operating at 18% winners to runners in his first season. James is surrounded by an excellent team who work tirelessly to support him both at home in the yard and on the racetrack together with Maria his partner and Director of the business, dealing with Owners Communications and bloodstock sale management.
The yard is a historic one
Park Lodge Stables is perfectly positioned in the centre of Newmarket between the main training grounds. The yard is a haven for horses, with airy stables and high ceilings, perfect for both hygiene and horse wellbeing and boasts a quaint green with two chestnut trees in the centre of the courtyard, giving a feeling of tranquillity to the horses who live here. The yard has an enclosed paddock which includes an all-weather trotting ring, lunge ring and turn-out pen, together with a covered horse walker for those rainy days.
