We are excited to have Molly O’Connor as part of our roster of sponsored athletes, joining this year! To say Molly is proving to be a prodigy in her age group and riding category is an understatement, her work ethic is unparalleled training through the week and competing most weekends; it is clear her passion for showjumping and even at the young age of 15 is showing a determination and dedication, having first sat in the saddle at 9 years of age.
Regardless of being too young to take behind the wheel, Molly has reaped the benefits of the Overlander 2-stall horsebox, travelling around the country to compete with her ponies Coolnaleen Rebel (Todd), Fernhill Mix and Match (Patch) and Ballyard Echo (Alfie); travelling in equal safety and comfort!

For this there is High Performance training in the south of Ireland meaning we have a lot of travelling to do.
I find the 2 horse Overlander invaluable for this job. Great room for the ponies and travelling time to places is quicker than in our bigger lorry.
The Overlander is very comfortable for both horses and humans meaning the ponies and myself arrive at training sessions ready to work.”
Molly has plans to do a 3 star international this year which is another step up for her already established presence in the Europeans; she has achieved the required MERs to compete on her horse Coolnaleen Rebel (Todd) at this level; Ballyard Echo (Alfie) is new to eventing so the objective is to try to get him as much experience as possible and attempt to build his confidence by doing 90 and 100 and hopefully do a 105 international at the end of the eventing year.
